Window 27 Play. 10-15-2024
dangled in a desert breeze for a while... and then I painted and drew on it.
Several decades ago, I was photographing in a garage painted black. The door out of the garage had a window which I used to create a series of Black and White images with slow exposures of a couple playing with each other. Some time went by, and I used that series to create another series where I colored them digitally. After a little more time, I took the images hung them on a fence at the Desert Dairy and then used them as underprints over which I painted and used different mediums. Micron Pens, Acrylics, sandpaper etc. 2.5x3.5” The hole from the nail tacking them up is still visible.
