Often at a show, pop-up, of festival I do something interactive. This tends to make things more interesting for me and the people walking by. Sometimes I set up odd situations like brushing teeth or begging. Often I am taking pictures and handing out prints. Sometimes people also sign model releases.
Hillcrest Walk in Art
I participated in many of the Hillcrest's Walk in Art pop-ups. Over time it was managed by several different people for the Hillcrest Business Association. While they had great ideas... First I was a guest where I setting up without a booth, taking pictures of people.
From Your Gay Dads
This is a note from some Gay Dads. I have made that people can take the money or put money on, keeping the thought alive. 10x10x1.5” mixed media with underprint, acrylics and micron pens. attached is a clip holding a bag with 20 dollars in it. Wired and ready to hang.

'Change Tree (make or take)' at Pride 2022
Maria and I developed the idea, gave it a try in Hillcrest and then put it up at Art of Pride 2022. People wrote notes, took pennys, and then posted on the tree. Money (and notes) flowed on and off the tree for two days leaving about $25 extra.
Taping Money to the Wall
Patric Stillman of The Studio Door sent me this picture. I (with permission) taped a bill next to my personal favorite (by Teem Stir) in the show. Someone else joined in and taped another bill. The empty tapes are not missing dollars but were put there by that someone just in case
MW and AR Brushing
Fellow exhibitors at the event, they wanted to be the first to try this (were 2nd). Several good blurry pictures of the two of them.This piece started at the Hotels/Motels (Unofficial Art Fair 2018), December 14 & 15, in a photo shoot of these two.
