Policy update, 11-8-2024
updates on things going on that are not posts in of themselves
Okay, So these habits stem from me not wanting to be a bother.
1. I delete free accounts comped or free when the open rate falls to 30 or 40 percent. Ignore me, its fine, I still think you are wonderful and want you back but I will go away. If you are giving me money, do as you please, I will not delete you unless asked.
2. If your credit card fails (usually because it has expired). I automatically (when I notice) set you up with a comped acct so you can continue having full access.
3. If you are an adult I will comp you an account to see everything if asked. I need the money... but maybe you need that 5 dollars a month more, have another artist or cause it needs to be spent on. I don't understand but I accept.
4. I no longer do commissions but I do collaborations. Usually it involves someone getting naked... The best examples of this are my latest piece Blue Eye's and nearly all my work with Ano. The people involved with both of those wish to remain anonymous which does not stop the works from being collaborations.
'Another SFW Monthly Public Newsletter' is no longer just monthly. I will use it for things like this as well. I checked everyone's box on this unless they told me 'No Newsletters!'
I have been accepted as a member of the SDMA's Artist Guild (Wow!). A lot of stuff has been going on over the years. When I first moved to San Diego some 40 years ago it was the premier Guild. It fell quite far. It is back, someones have been working on it (a lot). They are even talking about setting up their own version of an artgym. Kevin Inman seems to be the point man if your are interested in attending or helping contact me or him and I will get you on some list or other. I suspect when the time comes museum membership will be a near must.
