Pink helped create several pieces
Dolls exist in our minds somewhere between a rock and god. We use dolls in play, worship, sex, and therapy... This is a closer look at one among many, (One Hand, One Wing...) Mental static around the series is things like... found art, slavery, message implied by no nipples or penis, when science gives them actual life, hunting dolphins...
If some one would like to take her to the beach again, Pink, the doll, is removable and can be reattached (with a new zip tie). There is a barely seen picture of pink behind the doll. Going under water, bleeding (I think). A couple different prints are layered on top of each other. Archival metallic paper, ink, metallic inks, and artists acrylics were used on the front and sides. The collage binder is Liquitex gloss medium and varnish. The final varnish is Liquitex Acrylic Gloss Varnish. The back is painted black with BM black chalkboard paint. The piece is wired and ready to hang. 12x16x1.5"
