When I was transferring files from Patreon to Ghost, did not want to fill up peoples inbox, wanted a complete record... I had all sorts of reasons for not emailing but it resulted in things being hidden.
I dropped quite a few without mailing them out at one point. I latter figured out that I could stage them one per day and then things became more manageable. Started doing a summary news-letter that split into SFW and NSFW. People had to tell me (or check the boxes in their profile) that they wanted to see things daily (As They Happen) and monthly NSFW (Baers Reveal). The monthly SFW news-letter (Another SFW Monthly Public Newsletter) became the default for everyone and eventually was also used for announcements. NSFW was put behind a pay barrier as a way to avoid trolls (Susie Bright's) sage advice.
