I really liked the idea of taping money next to pictures one liked in a show... another person joined in.

The darkspace goes all the way back to college where I did an etching on what was going on in my head. The first Darkspace was with Sherrill in Santa Barbara, the next one on Marengo where we painted a garage black and Maria built me a dark room for developing images. The third was on Jackie Dr.

I did the work with Ano. They have been critical over the past decades. We are getting much older and the dialog continues... The Day of the Dead seemed very appropriate as a counterpoint. Tequila remains a staple of the shoots…

The series title for the black and white (some hand coloring) photographs was ‘Under the Window’…

I love wooden trains and track. Ano and I did a photo shoot playing with them much latter in life as adults. 10x10x1.5″ on cradled primed panel, Archival underprint, Acrylics, Micron Pens. wired and ready to hang.

This is a note from some Gay Dads. I have made that people can take the money or put money on, keeping the thought alive. 10x10x1.5” mixed media with underprint, acrylics and micron pens. attached is a clip holding a bag with 20 dollars in it. Wired and ready to hang.

I participated in many of the Hillcrest’s Walk in Art pop-ups. Over time it was managed by several different people for the Hillcrest Business Association. While they had great ideas... First I was a guest where I setting up without a booth, taking pictures of people.
