getting my head straight

did this postcard way back in the old Trump days

I have never been the person that yells charge and everyone rises up and charges. I played those corporate HR games but even when I knew the answer, my group was the only one that did the opposite and died. Keeps one humble. Nowadays, I am able to step back, and stay with the "crashed plane", taking abuse, and sadly watching everyone else suicidally march into the desert. Right now, I think the nation is marching into the desert with Trump. I hope I am proved wrong, millions of people had a choice and I honor that as I can, (just like any other mental disorder in a loved one). I posted the following on Newgrounds explaining my position:

"Hello,
So I worry about some different things happening in the world and at home. I was thinking fairly depressing thoughts. I was thinking of projects that would deal with the problems directly but I am not one of The Voices in this. I plan to support The Voices of Protest and The Voices for the Victims, but my art (past experiences) is probably not how to do it. I am going to stay light in my art. The one thing I have always been is that happy guy, the smiling guy behind the counter, every cloud a silver lining. I will continue in that vein while sending money to ACLU who is not so bubbly and has a tendency to defend (with teeth) anyone whose US constitutional rights are being abused (whatever their politics).
