Happy Lunar New Year, 2025!!!
I even shared some Moutai that a neighbor gifted us with. Everyone else commented on how smooth it was... I coughed and hacked after my first sip. I gave the rest to Maria.
Year of the Snake, Wednesday morning, was the first day of the 7 day celebration. We set up an axe throw and put out some gifts and decorations. Starting about 6:30 in the morning and then for a bit in the afternoon, Richard greeted neighbors walking their dogs, children, and themselves with a cheery 'wanna throw an axe?' The Costco axe and star throw is very fun. The plastic axes and stars make a very solid thunk. It is also fairly easy to stack the thrown axes on top of one another... This was a fun way of talking to neighbors and finding out what is going on in their lives.
