Ghost
A lot of times I trip onto new things after I give up on old things. Recently I downscaled my presence on Instagram and Facebook and joined Blue Sky. Now the platform I use for rbcdart.com, Ghost, has joined the Fedverse. It is a little like arriving early to the dance but it looks like it will be good. My handle is @index@www.rbcdart.com. I am at the very clumsy stage and my ignorance coupled with this being in Beta makes for a lot of 'hmmm' moments. Still, I have hope and enjoy reading my feed of notes and long form posts from the few and the brave that have started using it at Ghost. So far it looks like they only are publishing my posts for the public which is fine.
I have a few people following me... probably only because the available field of people that can be followed is small on Ghost. The kicker is that this Fedverse and Ghosts Activity Pub allows people on different platforms (like Mastodon) to follow me from within their own platform and visa versa. Have not mastered that aspect yet but I'm sure I will eventually rise to a level of understanding that enables me to do this or the platform will grow to enable my current level of understanding.

Some interesting ramifications. I now have 2 accounts on Blue Sky. One which I set up and the other is just a feed of what I post at www.rbcdart.com. I think I can combine them but holding off for now... The new handle for the feed is https://bsky.app/profile/rbcdart.com.web.brid.gy. My original handle at Blue Sky is https://bsky.app/profile/rbcdart.bsky.social which is what some of you are currently following.
