Doc and Jerry
This is one of the doll rescues where I would find dolls with a history and give them a place of respect. I think it odd that these treasures are so casually lost to ones who once loved them.
Peeled and Destroyed in 2022
This work is a large digital print of where I found the dolls at Kolby's Swapmeet. The sides are also digital prints of the scene.

The dolls are zipped tied to the piece (easy removal for play, cleaning, or replacement) The edges are cadmium red. All is archival designed to last a hundred years or more (except possibly the dolls and zip ties)... wired and ready to hang.
The person selling the dolls arranged them when he realized I wanted to photograph them.
