kinda of fitting for October
I tried photographing, editing and posting to the site with my phone. The progress photo above is from that attempt. Some of the pictures I took were too out of focus or washed out. Ended up deleting the post but I do like the cropped version. Used it above.
The Studio Door just published part of it's show schedule for next year. I will be entering several of the shows.
I just put down the deposit (thank you paying patrons) for another retreat at the Desert Dairy. Not sure what the focus is this time; hire a desert model, do landscapes, photograph a bit of Joshua Tree.... Suggestions appreciated.
Going to a meeting of artist volunteers at OMA in the hope of being useful. My PTSD (un-diagnosed) from my last year at SDAI in 2013 is much reduced (twitch). I may still run out screaming...
I think I finally have the mirror art piece of the mirror shoot done (after 3 attempts). With any luck I will post it and a senior citizen torso next week.
I did publish 3 different artcards that had hung in the desert wind a few years back at the Desert Dairy. I painted on them and did all sorts of things.
