Another SFW Monthly Public Newsletter - museo de rbcdart
So I created this newsletter for those people interested in my non-nude, public, and non-sexual stuff only. You know, mostly family and certain friends... I now also use it for all my ‘hey everybody’ type announcements.

I am sending this newsletter out two days early to share a last chance to see the show I am in at Bard Hall... messed up a bit on this one...

Happy 65th Anniversary to the Art Guild of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Diego. The Guild was founded in 1960 as the Religious Arts Guild.  Through its history it has contributed much to the local art community.  It has organized educational and enrichment programs. The Guild has hosted thousands of established and emerging artists (including myself, Maria, and Lora), seven children’s exhibits (including one from China and three from Belarus).

This is the last chance to see “My Eye is a Camera” in Bard Hall. The show will run until May 1st, featuring the works of Donald Barrie, Daniel Booth, Katie Boskoff, Richard ChauDavis, Nancy Fisk, Fritz Goeckner, Betty Hageman, Melinda Hohlbein, John Keasler, Nancy Neel, Robert Riger and Carolyn Woodbury.  John Keasler coordinated entries.  The installation was designed by Fritz Goeckner and Robert Riger. Drop by Sunday, 4-27-2025 for fellowship and/or a 'last chance' to see the work. Parking is free in the churches parking lot for those going to activities in the church.

The Guilds next show “Therese and Her Friends” starts May 1st. The show is a tribute to the late Therese Belanger, a multimedia artist and member of the Guild.  The reception for “Therese and Her Friends” will be at 6 pm on May 1st with special guest host Drew Massicot, Therese’s husband, and a talented keyboard artist.

My two works accepted into the Guild Show, My Eye is a Camera: "Muse with Panel and Easel" and "Michael W and Amanda"

Just did a photo shoot taking advantage of the major work being done at my house right now, here are some more first looks:

Today, Saturday 4-26-2025, Maria, Diane, Patty, and Lora are meeting to discuss ceramics and revival of the studio... Maria continues making a ball a day...

New Tag I just introduced:

Bookmarks - museo de rbcdart
Periodically I create a bookmark. Over the years I have experimented. Writing on the back, title on the front, etc. I have also done different sizes, encased in plastic. In the end they all worked... as bookmarks.

All the Best,
Richie
