Sooo, as I have observed, my feed has shifted from people I follow to mostly things the algorithm thinks I would like. Strange that while the algorithm is absolutely correct and can suck me in for hours, it is not right enough...
(1) I have ended up abandoning social platforms much like I have abandoned television over the years.
(2) The flip side is professional (where I am providing the entertainment with my art). Sadly that has not generated income or brought people to here (www.rbcdart.com). It may have actually diverted people from here. Deleting almost all my content on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
(3) The final leg is social justice. With recent changes to all the major platforms they have all become a bit slimy and a place of tall tales as opposed to a way for underserved people to get the truth out.

All that said, I am trying out Blue Sky (@rbcdart.bsky.social) and Newgrounds (https://rbcdart.newgrounds.com/). They both seem to have no trouble with nude and sexual content with filters in place such that if people do not want to see, they won't (I don't use them). I have discovered some very good sexual artists on Newgrounds and I am following a Discworld feed on Blue Sky. I have had to mute some people on Blue Sky showing naked pictures of themselves and asking me to follow them. I could block but that just seems rude, they did show me some nice pictures.

I am considering traditional advertising in church bulletins, newspapers, etc. to see if I get a response that way... I still like LinkedIn...
