At one time there were quite a few galleries on Ray St. giving birth to Ray at Night... ah well. I had fun with Hank doing my blurry picture thing. He played assistant and sold his work on the side. He latter ran a pop-up gallery during Ray at Night. Historical Daily posts for Ray at Night will be arriving mostly in May, 2023.
The underprint comes from my time photographing people and artists during Ray at Night circa 2009. Karla Mi Lugo (sp?) on the accordion. Mixed media, acrylics, micron pens, white gel pen, heavy gel medium... two coats Liquitex Gloss Varnish. 12x16x1.5. In 2021 Karla was hit by a truck and took heavy damage.
